Allu Ramalingaiah (Actor)


Ramalingaiah was born in Palakollu in 1929. He was expert in homeo medicine. The govt. arrested and send him to Kadalur jail as a detenue, when he was worked for Praja Natya Mandali.
He began his film career in 1953 with Puttillu.
He became popular as a comedian with the films like Nirupedalu, Chakrapani, Menarikam, Todu Dongalu, Vipra Narayana, Palle Paduchu, Bhagya Rekha, Pellinati Pramanalu, Missamma, Donga Ramudu etc.
He received Padma Sri award from the central govt. for his service to the film industry in 1990.
His last film is Jai.
He died on 31 July, 2004.

Garikapati Raja Rao (Producer)

Raja Rao was born in 1915 in Rajahmundry. He directed some stage plays like 'Maa Bhoomi', 'Parivarthana', 'Pothu Gadda', 'Seetha Rama Raju' and 'Jai Bhavani'.
His first film as a producer was 'Puttillu'.
He introduced the actors like Jamuna, Allu Ramalingaiah, Perumallu, Chadalawada Kutumba Rao, Nazar (burra katha artiste); music directors like C. Mohana Das and T. Chalapathi Rao; art director Maa Gokhale; make-up artiste Kumar; choreographer D. Venu Gopal to the film world.
He acted as hero in 'Puttillu', and played a key role in 'Bobbili Yuddham'.

AM Raja (Singer)


Raja was born on July 1, 1929 in Ramachandrapuram, Madras Presidency, British Raj.
He died on 7 April, 1989 at the age of 59 in Valliur, Tamilnadu.
Raja acted in 'Pakkinti Ammayi' and has given music for the films 'Sobha' and 'Pelli Kanuka'.

V. Madhusudana Rao (Director)


Madhusudana Rao was born in Eedupugallu, Krishna District.
He worked as assistant director at KS Prakasa Rao, Tatineni Rama Rao and Adurti Subba Rao.
He directed nearly 75 movies. His first film as a director is 'Sati Tulasi'.
He directed Jaggaiah's film 'Padnadi Munduku', and participated in Russia Film Festival.
He established Madhu Film Institute at Hyderabad.
